Daily MEDITATION under 10-Minutes | Meditation music | Saurabh Bothra
Meditation can play a significant role in enhancing relaxation and mental clarity in our lives. This 10-minute practice is perfect for those seeking peace and self-awareness amidst daily stressors.
Begin by sitting in a comfortable position with your eyes gently closed. Do not worry if you feel some discomfort in keeping your eyes shut; this is completely natural. Simply close your eyes and relax into the environment around you.
Take a deep breath in, hold for a moment, and then very slowly exhale. Continue this rhythm, focusing entirely on your breathing.
As you breathe out, feel your body relaxing naturally.
Direct your attention to the cacophony of sounds in your environment—the distant traffic sounds, maybe the soft chirps of birds. Gradually bring your awareness closer, necessary to the sounds in your immediate vicinity like a humming fan or people conversing nearby.
Embrace these sounds without distraction, allowing them to ground you in the present moment.
Become aware of different parts of your body, acknowledging them as precious gifts from Mother Nature. Move your focus from your feet, knees, and legs to your hips and stomach area, guiding your relaxation throughout.
Continue up through your chest and spine, loosening tension in your shoulders, arms, and neck, all the way to the top of your head. Let your facial muscles soften, keeping your eyes motionless and your jaw relaxed.
As thoughts arise, whether pleasant or not, practice acceptance without resistance. Recognize that these thoughts do not define you.
Similarly, acknowledge any emotional obstacles, accepting your current emotional state without judgment. By doing so, you'll foster a space for genuine peace, joy, and love to blossom.
Near the end of your meditation, revisit the awareness of your breaths, intentionally taking deeper inhales and exhales.
Gradually bring back your awareness to your body and surroundings. When you feel ready, open your eyes softly, and return to your day with a sense of tranquility.
